Select the right cylindrical brush and optimise the cleaning performance of your machine.
Cleanpart supplies cylindrical brushes for all major floor-cleaning machines and floor types. Our brushes are made from durable materials such as PPL, nylon, mixed fibre, and Tynex, ensuring effective cleaning on both smooth and textured surfaces. With a large inventory in Getinge, Sweden, we offer fast delivery and reliable availability across the Nordic region and Europe.

Scrubber-dryers equipped with cylindrical brushes are ideal for demanding cleaning environments both indoors and outdoors. Typical applications include exhibition halls, sports and recreational facilities, warehouses, production plants, workshops, parking garages, and other areas with heavy soil or textured flooring.
Cylindrical brushes work especially well on:
Structured or uneven floors
Anti-slip and safety flooring
Industrial concrete
Rough stone surfaces
Light- to medium-textured indoor floors
They are also effective for sweeping and light debris removal thanks to the higher brush rotation speed.
Cleanpart supplies cylindrical brushes in several high-performance materials, including:
Soft PPL (0.15–0.5 mm) – fine dust, smooth indoor floors
Mixed Fiber (Union Mix) – anti-static, indoor dust control
Standard PPL (0.6–0.9 mm) – concrete, asphalt, general scrubbing
Nylon (0.3–1.5 mm) – high durability, water-resistant
Hard PPL (1.0–1.5 mm) – rough floors, outdoor cleaning
Tynex (silicon carbide grit) – industrial concrete, heavy soil
Cylindrical-brush filaments are often slightly oval, so two measurements are taken — the filament diameter is the average of these values:

Example:
If the filament measures 0.8 mm on one axis and 1.2 mm on the other:
(0.8 + 1.2) / 2 = 1.0 mm
This averaged value is the official filament diameter used when selecting the correct brush type.
A cylindrical brush should be replaced when:
Bristle length has decreased significantly
The brush no longer contacts the floor evenly
Cleaning performance decreases despite correct pressure
Vibration or noise increases during operation
Most brushes reach end-of-life due to bristle shortening rather than breakage.
Cleanpart supplies cylindrical brushes compatible with all major global scrubber-dryer brands, including:
Adiatek, 4CleanPro, Alto, American Lincoln, Alto Clarke, Cimex, Cleanfix, Columbus, Comac, CTM, Dulevo, Dupex, Duster, Electrolux, Eureka, FA-SA, Fimap, Fiorentini, ICM, Floor, Gadlee, Gansow, Gaomei, Ghibli, Gmatic, Green Machines, Hako, Hawig-Borema, Hefter, i-mop, ICA, ICE, IPC, ISAL, Kärcher, Lavor, MP, Minuteman, Mirage, Nilco, Nilfisk, Nilfisk-Advance, Nobles, Tennant, Numatic, OMM, Pioneer Eclipse, POLI, Power Boss, Power Flite, Pulimat, Pullman, Beva Clean, RCM, Rotowash, Schwaborn, Selco, Sorma, Sprintus, Stolzenberg, Taski, Teknova, Tennant, TMB, Truvox, TSM, TVX, Victor, Viper, VLX, Wayne, Weider, Wetrok, Whittaker, Windsor, Wirbel mfl.
Choosing the right cylindrical brush is essential for achieving optimal cleaning performance and ensuring long brush life. Cleanpart supplies cylindrical brushes in PPL, nylon, mixed fiber, natural fiber, and Tynex (silicon carbide grit) — each engineered for specific floor types, soil levels, and machine requirements.
Use soft PPL (0.15–0.5 mm) for light soil and smooth indoor floors, standard PPL (0.6–0.9 mm) for concrete or asphalt, and Tynex for aggressive cleaning on heavily soiled industrial floors. Nylon brushes offer superior durability compared to PPL, do not absorb water, and maintain their stiffness, making them ideal for demanding environments where lifespan and shape stability are critical.
For the best results, consider floor texture, soil type, and filament stiffness when selecting your brush. Machines equipped with cylindrical brushes apply higher ground pressure and operate at significantly higher speeds (approx. 500–800 rpm) than traditional disc brush systems, requiring materials that can withstand friction, impact, and continuous load without deformation.
To extend the service life of your brushes and optimise cleaning results, explore our range of wear parts and replacement components, designed to work in harmony with the cylindrical brush system.
